Great Jobs for Art Majors

by Blythe Camenson

Book review

I read this book already knowing it was outdated but figured it could STILL have SOME useful information in it, and it does! Part one of the of book was about assessing yourself, creating resumes, cover letters, going on interviews and networking; still fairly relevant information. Especially the self assessment. It helps you figure out what exact job you are looking for beyound the field it is in. The things I didn't like it didn't delve into Graphic Design too much. It didn't offer enough of variety of career paths. And obviously technology has changed since the 90s so the information about Graphic Design is lacking and most additional resources it offers are library oriented instead of internet outdated. So all and all, it was just ok.
