Book review

Kalden Chanku is a wolf shifter that discovers his mate, an African American woman competing in the 2012 London Olympics. Unfortunately for Kalden, she is a human. Not only claiming is his problem, but introducing the idea of shifters to humans is not an easy or welcomed task. Kalden is a coach, working with his star athlete who is pursuing the Men’s Gold Medal in Track and Field. He and his athlete are hoping that by winning gold, they may be able to secure sponsors for the plight of endangered wolves of North America, namely their little oasis of Royale Island of Michigan. All this is in jeopardy of being pushed aside once Kalden starts his pursuit of Nakayla. His mate has no time for romance; as she pursues her own gold medal in Track and Field as well. Along the way Kal has to deal with a very determined rival for Nakayla’s attention and heart, plus discourage unwanted advances from someone in his past that views his mate as a threat.
