Of China and of Greece

by Greg Kuzma

Book review

This book made me want to be a poet outside the mainstream— the lists and elastic nature of the verse shoots the end of his lines back to their beginnings— like long-lined Ginsberg poems do. Desire-bound and powerful poems about the death of his brother and his collected angry made animate here, dropping the reader down deep like black stones into Kuzma's consciousness.
