Paul's Story

by Irene J. Hamer

Book review

Paul's Story is the second in a series about life in Ethiopia for a western family. Based on real events, the tale recounts one family's African experiences as they spend eighteen months collecting anthropological data in the Sidamo Provence of Ethiopia. Each member of the family copes differently with the challenges they face, but it is the people they meet and the lessons they learn that make the story come alive. Intended to broaden the world view of young adults, Paul's Story give its readers a perspective of an extraordinary experience as it takes them if only in their imagination to a remote African country and introduces them to an entirely different way of life.
